Spring has Sprung!

Can you believe it's April, in Michigan! We've had absolutely beautiful weather here lately, in the 70's, and thank goodness too because the only shoes I can fit into these days are flip flops! The picture is a candid shot Krista took of Mike and I during the first BBQ of the season at the Partins. Good times, as always!
Things have been going good for the most part at the Nelson household. Audrey's room is offically done and waiting her arrival. Mike's getting ready to start some yard work including staining the deck and pulling weeds ...there's no way I'm getting on my hands and knees! Speaking of hands ...mine are swollen, along with my feet, enough to register as a float in the Macy Day Parade! Sara was kind enough to point out how swollen my feet were the other day by comparing them to hers.
Sleeping is getting to be a bear too. I'm snoring so badly that I wake myself up just about every 15 minutes. Then since I'm up I figure I might as well go to the bathroom. I'm getting really good at doing this still half asleep though ...boy I hope one of those cats don't decided to take a nap in the middle of the hallway one night!
Audrey's been very active in the last few weeks. Her favorite time to roll around starts around 9:30pm and sometimes goes until 11pm. Mike loves to see this ...for about 15 minutes and then he rolls over and falls sound asleep. Although it can't be that sound as I roll from side to side, huffing and puffing, trying to get comfortable. That news of an earthquake in Michigan the other day ...I'm pretty sure it was just me rolling over!
Well I've only got 6 weeks left, give or take, so I'm trying to relish every bit of it with very minimal complaining. "Trying" being the key word there!

OMG..look at that Audrey belly! I mean, it hasn't been that long since I've seen you, and somehow I just forget how quickly that belly grows. Can't wait to see you on Saturday!

I've never done the prego thing myself, but I think lil' Audrey will be arriving before May 30! As we've discussed, I'm pretty sure all of her acrobatic moves over the past few days/weeks are all preparation for her grand entrance. YEAH!
You look fabulous darling!

That is so funny that she rolls over for that long at night! My belly moves are so random that i can bearly ever get chris to feel it. Good luck with those feet! After reading Britta's Blog it doesn't look like they go away right away, boo!
