Summer Fading Fast

Is it really August already? Where has the summer gone? So far Audrey has really enjoyed her first summer as a toddler with so many introductions to things like sand, lakes, pools and playhouses. She really loves to play ball, ride in her cozy coupe, and chase the dog around the yard.

We recently had a visit from Aunt Heather and baby Lola who came into town for our Grandma's 80th birthday party. Audrey loved her new baby cousin ...she gave lots of kisses (BFF Remi still got plenty of kisses too). Lola is a beautiful baby and a spitting image of her mama. I can't wait to watch them play together in the years to come. As for the party we had family and friends gather in our backyard as we enjoyed the beautiful summer afternoon.

It really seems that summer is fading fast. We have one more "planned" camping trip for Labor Day and then we're heading up north to spend sometime with Mike's family before we say goodbye to summer.

You're making me all sad Sally...and you're not even a teacher! Labor Day is still four weekends away and it doesn't just get cold after that :) Each season, each year with a little one is so fun because so much is new or new again. See you soon!

I also feel like summer is fading fast. Like you guys, we've really enjoyed experiencing summer with a toddler and I think Tatym and I both are dreading the winter. I think Audrey continues to get cuter this summer. I'm loving her pebbles hair-do I've seen in some pics. Here's to soaking up the last month of summer!!

Like Melissa said - here's to soaking up the last month of summer! Thanks for making Remi's first summer memorable, since a lot of her "firsts" were had with her BFF. Looking forward to Labor Day camping and lots of BBQs between now and then ;)
